We meet in Bovec and take a ride with the car or a gondola to the takeoff point at Kanin or Mangart, where you receive all the necessary equipment. Your pilot sets up all the equipment, gives you instructions, and then off you go! Safety is paramount when it comes to tandem paragliding; rest assured that all our pilots are local experts with many years' worth of flying experience behind them – not to mention an enormous passion for gliding sports. You’ll definitely feel secure while they guide your journey through the skies above us.
It is truly special being allowed to glide across the sky here in Bovec, nestled within this stunningly picturesque Slovene landscape along the banks of the crystal clear waters of the Emerald Green Soča Valley. It lies just near the shores of the Adriatic Sea and boasts some incredible Alpine scenery around its edges. These lofty heights combined with such mild weather has given rise to these spectacular natural wonders filled with diverse plant life and wildlife roaming freely about.
There are several different options available depending upon which peak we choose to soar towards today: either Mount Mangart (the third tallest summit found anywhere in Slovenia), Stolska Mountain Ridge, Mt. Kuk, or finally there’s also the option of taking off directly from nearby Lake Bohinj if desired... Each one offers something slightly different but equally amazing experiences so please let me know what takes your fancy once aboard… Here goes nothing else than pure exhilaration awaits those who dare venture upwards beyond Earthbound confines…. And now back to business.... Let’s start things off properly shall we? First stop could very well end up being majestic Mont Mangart standing proudly tall amidst everything reaching almost heavenwards itself at approximately two thousand six hundred seventy nine metres altitude …. From atop her shoulders overlooking Europe like royalty would sit enthroned amongst subjects below gazing out onto panoramic vistas spanning three countries including parts of Austria too alongside stretches of both French & Spanish territory further still away toward distant horizons…..
