Italian Cooking Classes on Lake Maggiore
Want to learn how to cook three typical Italian dishes that are easy to make? You can do so with us during our private Italian cooking class in the province of Varese, on the shores of Lake Maggiore. The class will take place in the garden of an early 1900s villa near the lake, where you can enjoy the dishes prepared, accompanied by a glass of red wine. You can choose between four different menus:
Menu A
Pizzoccheri: we'll learn to make a typical pasta from Valtellina using buckwheat flour, seasoned with potatoes, cheese, and cabbage; Pesto Genovese: a sauce made with basil, pine nuts or walnuts, garlic, and Parmesan; and finally, Tiramisu: one of the most famous and beloved Italian desserts worldwide.
Menu B
Spaghetti all’Amatriciana: we'll prepare one of Rome's most iconic pasta dishes, made with tomato sauce, guanciale, and Pecorino cheese; Stuffed Baked Eggplant: tender eggplants filled and baked with Mediterranean flavors; and to finish, Tiramisu: the timeless Italian dessert loved all over the world.

Potato Gnocchi or Spinach Gnocchi with Ricotta: we'll make soft homemade gnocchi from scratch, choosing between classic potato gnocchi or a delicate spinach and ricotta variation; Stuffed Baked Eggplant or Eggplant Parmigiana: two traditional recipes featuring eggplant, either oven-baked with a savory filling or layered with tomato
